Essential Guides
Free practical advice.
What are they?
Each Essential Guide is a synopsis of the topic covered. They are written with the aim of providing the business using the guide with the key elements they really need to know about the subject. The Essential Guide is not a reference book and does not cover everything about a topic. An Essential Guide is aimed at being a supplement to professional advice, rather than an alternative.
How are they delivered?
The Essential Guide is written on two sides of A4 paper. It is written on the basis that it should take the average person in business no longer than five minutes to read, but will provide enough information for the business person to act in an informed way on the subject. Each Essential Guide is contained in a pdf document and we will send you a copy upon receipt of an e-mail application.
How do I know about them?
New Essential Guides are announced through our weekly tax tips. This is free of charge. If you wish to join, just provide us with your name and your e-mail address, and you will receive our e-mails. Our weekly tax tip is an opt in service and we do not issue unsolicited e-mails. Currently we have over 2000 users.
Covertax produces some longer tax guides too - our e-books.
These are also provided free of charge to subscribers of our tax tips. Our e-books provide considerable commentary on the subjects covered, but once again are aimed at being a supplement to professional advice.
