The business is headed by Steve Botham and Tony Borman.  Steve is a leading VAT and Indirect Taxes expert, whilst Tony specialises in defending HMRC investigations and dispute resolution. Both  have extensive experience in handling tax appeals before the Tax Tribunal.  The Covertax team has the necessary blend of expertise from both professional and HMRC backgrounds, so we are able to offer all-round experience.

We work for clients direct or via their regular professional advisor. The majority of our work comes from introductions and recommendations from professional advisors. We do not undertake accountancy, audit, or financial services work, so we are never in a position of potential competition or conflict with introducing advisors. We are happy to be engaged on whatever basis you require.
